Yes! Another busy box! This is mega ultra stacked with sounds and gadgets. This is just like the yellow one, only you can have 4 (not just 1) stacks of loops and you can actually save them/export them without recording them live. In this case, I recorded 6 loops (with varying amounts of things stacked in each) and exported them as wav files (via the USB connector from the KPro) and slapped them into Acid Loops. I changed the key on half of them from E to C, then laid them out in a quick and dirty ABACAB layout (I didn’t wanna spend all day on it).
Needless to say, this is a MUCH simpler way to make music. I’m sure Bob will rate this like I’m going for a top 10 blockbuster hit, but it is just an initial experiment to get a sample of it on the blog. The phasing and volume effects were added in Acid. Stay tuned for more!
Yay! More music I’m ape shit about that nobody cares about (except for a few). Mike Keneally just finished his co written album with Andy Partridge (from XTC). They just put a video out for one of the songs. Once again, I love music that conveys misery and loss but still seems upbeat (explains my love for Fleetwood Mac too)! No better status report for me could be put to music! I think this could be a testament for everyone struggling through the joke/lie known as “The American Dream”. Listen to the lyrics. Poor Fred Willard got caught in a porn theater in Hollywood, CA last night pulling a “Pee-Wee Herman”. Kinda sucks that this great actor, who is 72 fucking years old by the way, is being prosecuted for doing what most people do in an adult movie theater. The man should be being honored for still whacking off at 72!!! Fucking PBS even dropped him from a show he was working on before the man has even been convicted.
I love Fred Willard, and I could give two shits less he was choking the chicken. The man at his age can probably barely use the internet or send an email, let alone navigate the wild world of internet porn. How many 72 year olds do you know surfing internet porn? Its his generation that is keeping those theaters in business.
All the shocked haters and PBS folks need to listen to the words of that wise poet and sage, the J-ROC and leave Fred alone.
