Oh yeah… Evvvvvverybody has money for a touch screen computer?!? Really?! So now a computer is supposed to act like a freakin smart phone? “It’s so easy NOBODY can use it!”
Am I the only person who thinks this is moving backwards? So now people wont need to spell write OR TYPE?
And those tiles that have active content in them. You think you are wasting resources now on RSS Feeds into news tickers and real time updating crap? Just imagine how the bandwidth and processor usage will leap with real time processing of these stupid tiles.
This is a great idea about 20 years down the road but with today’s processors and bandwidth, it’s too much too soon! Microsoft needs to STOP TRYING TO BE APPLE. Some of us are just now becoming devoted to Microsoft and for Microsoft to start breaking out the black turtle necks now, it’s making them suck all over again. Stick to what you are good at: functional, intelligent, and cheap operating systems, not some stupid pretty wall hanging that plays media and locks up with a stupid spinning beach ball (we have Apple for that!)
