Funny thing is… ONCE AGAIN… the thing that makes our neighborhood and city look stupid comes from the burbs (in this case New Jersey). Is anyone surprised? REALLY?! ANYONE!
This guy just LOOKS like the typical, “I’m gonna go into da city once a year, git drunk and beat da crap outta some guy!” person. Dime a dozen around here. But just the look ALONE, makes me angry. (The words “Meat Head”, “Dork McLargioni” come to mind. Leave any other suggestions in the comments section).
I’ve spotted some BLAZINGLY ugly sweaters out there,… Rittenhouse Square last Saturday afternoon, at a suburban Wegmans, and one up in New Hope that would make Helen Keller wince. That being said, Santa actually went and got SPONSORS for this event because I believe the ugly bar is so high, the winner of this thing absolutely DESERVES fabulous prizes.

WHAT A SHOW. The three joke off’s were ripping tonite! The host, Lou, had some of the most frighteningly vaudeville Benny Hill jokes, Paul-E’s jokes were scathing and cold, and Chef Jeff’s jokes were just plain offensive. This being a typical south philly dive bar (Ray’s Happy Birthday Bar) that has survived off of this grotesque sort of dark humor for nearly a century, buzzed with energy and laughter. Possibly the best entertainment I’ve ever witnessed in this bar.
