You all may know of my love of the Portsmouth Sinfonia. They were an orchestral band of trained musicians who were required to play on instruments they didn’t know how to play. (It is rumored that one member of the Portsmouth Sinfonia was actually disciplined for attempting to practice!) I was drawn into this by one of it’s members, Mr. Brian Eno. Here’s a head bangin’ sample of the Portsmouth Sinfonia!
But NOW we have this band called The Shaggs.
Thanks to Huffington Post for posting this, so I don’t have to describe it. Read the article, listen to the music/video’s. (If it’s good enough for Frank Zappa it’s DEFINITELY worth a listen – even if only for a giggle). Apparently there’s a live musical, play, bit, thing about this. I’d love to see it. Once again, I’m stepping into the world of theater appreciation.

Probably really pompous to comment on your own article, but I just realized that the drummer sort of looks like Allison and the guitarist on the left looks like Geddy Lee. Wanna weigh in on this Denise?
Hair maybe, but that chick’s got a mega chin. I dont think she looks like Ali. I think Brent looks more like Holmes…
At first I thought Geddy Lee’s sisters had put an album out…but the vocals are too good. ;p

These girls make Debbie Harry look like a pile of dung! That drummer is really kind of hot. I could squeeze out a couple of knuckle children thinking about her. And the sister on the right? SMOKIN’ HOT! Her look is kinda sorta like Kathy Ireland meets Ernest Borgnine. And I’ll bet the Shagg sister on the left will stroke ya like that guitar neck she’s holding!! They all have some sexy, sexy sounds, to go with those sexy, sexy looks…
