WHAT A SHOW. The three joke off’s were ripping tonite! The host, Lou, had some of the most frighteningly vaudeville Benny Hill jokes, Paul-E’s jokes were scathing and cold, and Chef Jeff’s jokes were just plain offensive. This being a typical south philly dive bar (Ray’s Happy Birthday Bar) that has survived off of this grotesque sort of dark humor for nearly a century, buzzed with energy and laughter. Possibly the best entertainment I’ve ever witnessed in this bar.

Congratulations to Chef Jeff for going for the funny bone with a “soiled” vibrator!
Of special note in the above picture:
Paul-E: the best dressed joke-off in town posing as Jonathon Hart (from 80’s TV Aaron Spelling sit-com Hart to Hart) with his “self made millionaire” glasses and batman shirt.
Lou (mid joke): dinosaur t-shirt with name tag around his neck reading “dinosaur”.
