East Passyunk Avenue in a Travel mag? Think They Forgot One Important Part!
Somehow, E. Passyunk Ave got a glowing write up in some stupid travel magazine because they are rededicating the stupid “singing” fountain (“singing” because it has speakers playing sirius radio mounted around it). I believe the article left out one important part that I have personally experienced living in this neighborhood. I left a comment on the article to that affect. It reads as follows:
Just don’t let the older native Italian crack head and meat head bigots find out you are gay, black or Latino or they’ll beat the crap out of you on the street while the police look away. And beware the unemployed pharmaceutical junkies on xanax and percosets. They have no idea what they are doing and they may suddenly start screaming profanities at the sky or a telephone pole or anything that moves. There’s a TON of unemployed pill popping junkies in this neighborhood walking around like empty headed zombies.

Two of my dearest friends over the weekend were the victims of an anti-gay assault. They both needed medical treatment and continue to recuperate. I witnessed the attack and will testify or do anything else it takes to put the homophobic piece of filth responsible for this act behind bars.

As for the current looming government shutdown and the reasons behind it, I only have this to say:
Yes. Lets abort this fetus. You want a balanced budget? Start making corporations pay their fair share. Tax companies that ship their job overseas at a higher rate. If you want to Lobby Congress, then its a 50% flat tax to run your business. 501-C3’s can no longer be used to raise political funds. Make the DOD its own free standing entity (like the Post Office) along with charging other countries who use our military for “freedom” a “Freedom Fee.” Any church or non-profit group that wants to persuade its members on how OUR country is governed and its laws on ALL of its people, lose their non taxable status and are taxed at the new Lobbyist rate. Outlaw former congressmen, senators, vice presidents, etc from being able to work for defense contractors. Make serving on Congress or the Senate a volunteer position with no pay and no benefits.
Wow. I bet I’ve made this country money, and saved more money then the good congressman Mr. Ryan at a Planned Parenthood fund raiser and I haven’t even done a thing~how totally American of me!
