Dirty Dave “The Sample King” brought the two Roland SP 404’s over with some new samples. We recorded playing with them, moving things around, playing on top of them, and junk like that.

We did two tracks. Both are about 6 minutes each.

The first track is tentatively called “I’m Waiting”. Dave had samples playing in a sequence. I liked one of them, resampled it to a keyboard and played it with increasing speed.

The second track is tentatively called “That Freakout Bit” or “Everything is Bad”. Samples from a goofy TV news report bit chopped up. Samples from Dave and MicroKorg 2 noodling.

Combined effort, this was a total of about 3 hours of labor.
