If you use a machine to make synthesizer sound loops, some would right away revert to building a beat first.
But sometimes if you wash a bunch of random tones in reverb, loop them, and audibly push them to the back, you aren’t bothered by the loop so much.
Here’s something I made tonite. This was done live in real time on my new Kaossilator.
This is my impression of a quick stitch together Harold Budd ambient piano offering. You can also here me screw with the patch settings on the device. (This is the only time being an amateur really doesn’t sound that bad!)
From the wonderful people at musicradar.com. They have a demo video on the sight showing how you can connect 2 monotrons to each other and combine the features. Looks like I need another one now!! HAHAHA!
