ENOUGH ALREADY!!!

I am so sick and tired of the media rhetoric trying to ratchet up the fact that a bunch of catholic schools in philadelphia are closing…

WHO CARES!

Hell, they’d close my school, I’d jump for joy!

Let’s make it easier on the public. Let’s show a bunch of crying school girls! That makes it so much easier!

DAMN THE MEDIA!

MY GOD! GET OVER IT!

STUPID LEMMING FOOLS!

Hozpitality-Requiem For A Post Holiday Wednesday

This time I’m using the Korg Kaossilator, Monotron, and Sony Acid Loops.

Worked about 2 hours on this one.  Started out almost like a carbon copy of the opening of Stevie Nicks’s “Stand Back”, but Gamera made sure that didn’t happen!

Quite proud!  Gamera proud for me!!!

CRANK IT UP!!!!!!!!!

GRR! Gamera glad holidays over!

Trying to be Harold Budd on the Kaossilator

If you use a machine to make synthesizer sound loops, some would right away revert to building a beat first.

But sometimes if you wash a bunch of random tones in reverb, loop them,  and audibly push them to the back, you aren’t bothered by the loop so much.

Here’s something I made tonite.  This was done live in real time on my new Kaossilator.

This is my impression of a quick stitch together Harold Budd ambient piano offering.  You can also here me screw with the patch settings on the device.  (This is the only time being an amateur really doesn’t sound that bad!)

Listen to the stream of it:
