Fifth Release from Hozpitality!!

This was a collaborative effort, which is the cornerstone of Hozpitality, to incorporate new creative techniques with a few new gadgets. Technology is a wonderful thing, great (and somewhat silly) minds make technology better. Once again, a lovingly slapped together assemblage of “heightened musical vignettes”.

One thought on “Fifth Release from Hozpitality!!”

  1. Throughout the release, Hozpitality speaks at length of Circus Clowns, Stink Bugs, Angry Hot Dogs and Toddler Sized Shark Cages and, as is in earlier efforts, is heavily reliant on technologic savvy to highlight these topics. But after multiple listenings to the varied Korg created cacophonies future beats and art-house vocals this reviewer must conclude the band truly has no idea what they’re talking about when it actually comes to confining small children within the watery confines of a steel cage. This is truly disappointing as the album artwork does an extremely convincing job of lying to us about their knowledge of such subject matter. Instead the band offers up their simple, beautiful and often magically composed pieces that lend the album a fresh sound and sense of wonder that is even more satsfying than watching a small child drown.
    4 out of 5 stars.
